May the sun always shine on Walkerburn!

               

Funded by Scottish Ministers in conjunction with Scottish Borders Council, as the Lead Partner for the Local Action Group, Home Basics is pleased to be a recipient of a grant towards the cost of installing solar energy panels on our Walkerburn warehouse. Watch out here for updates.

These improvements will be done by local company James Stewart & Sons of Kelso, and will enable us to reduce our energy costs thus providing additional funding to support our work for people on low incomes, and to maintain the longevity of the charity.

Work should begin in the next few weeks, but we hope to remain open during the installation. Keep a check on our Facebook page for any closure notices.
