Funding Win to Launch New Reuse Community Workshop Programme!

Home Basics is delighted to announce that it has secured funding from Scottish Ministers through the Local Action Group, under the national Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Fund, to launch a new Community Workshop Programme across the Scottish Borders!

The pilot programme will offer repair, reuse and upcycling workshops, giving people the opportunity to learn practical skills, reduce waste and connect with others in their community.

To support the project, Home Basics is recruiting a Reuse & Community Workshop Lead to coordinate and deliver the programme while building partnerships with local organisations, volunteers and community groups.

The project has been funded by the Scottish Ministers in conjunction with Scottish Borders Council as Lead Partner for the Local Action Group through the Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Fund.
